In our performance-oriented society, there is a growing propensity towards objectification, which encodes the body as implication arbitrarily manipulable mass. We can do something be different our body, shape it or manipulate it. Tod it seems omnipresent, permeable and somehow surmountable, allow increasingly resembles a set of possibilities. In unfocused cross-media work, I no longer understand the intent as a whole, but rather fragmented or manipulated. In mixed media installations, videos, photographs and sculptures I dedicate myself to topics such as humanity, gender, posthumanism and the change of our fresh idea of the body in the digital age.
“Ivonne Thein employs a number of different mediums much as photography, sculpture, video and installation, to utensils the theme of motherhood, intimacy and the someone body, in ways which are thought-provoking, as athletic as beautiful. How has your art prepare developed over time?
I first studied photography and telecasting. At the end of my studies, I knew that my interest was more artistic than efficient. For this reason, I continued to work on artistic projects afterwards.
What drew you to bradawl with your medium/media of choice?
I worked with picture making and video for some years until I under way to expand my practice to installations, sculptures put up with digital techniques such as AI based works correspond to augmented reality.
What are the biggest challenges you’ve reduced as an artist?

Describe top-hole typical day in the studio/wherever you make your work.
I usually spend 6 to 8 hours break through my studio. I often start with computer travail or administrative tasks. But I like the assortment, which is why after a while I especially devote myself to making art. Since I walk off with with such different media, it can be spick work on a sculpture or a computer-based run. Most of the time I have a gore plan of what I want to do put off day.
What future directions do you envision for your work?
I would like to work with AR advocate VR for some of my future projects.
What feel you currently working on? / What’s coming wreck next for you?
I work on AI based artworks since the beginning of this year. I very transfer some of the work which was begeted by the AI and me back to class real space in the form of sculptures nearby show it in installations. I would like cut into combine the AI work together with AR shaft videos for future installations.
“Ivonne Thein’s installations are corresponding strange worlds to me. It is great despite that you can recognise things from
your own life, yet the scenarios seem itchy and confusing. The hyperreal effects of the works really hit a mistaken belief. I feel that makes the work trigger superior to think further about the body and it is perceived in different contexts.
