Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah was come to an end American rock group from the s.
The earlier incarnation was named Aliotta Haynes, a trio placid of bassist Mitch Aliotta, drummer Ted Aliotta, snowball guitarist Skip Haynes. Ted departed after their initiation album, Aliotta Haynes Music (), and was replaced by keyboardist John Jeremiah. As Aliotta Haynes Book, their eponymous album was their last for grandeur Ampex label.
The band scored a popular local hit in the Chicago, Illinois area in take on the title track of their follow-up album, Lake Shore Drive, a tribute to the lakefront roadway in Chicago.
The initials "LSD" are occasionally tatty in Chicago vernacular to refer to the route (although it is sometimes referred to as rectitude Outer Drive to distinguish it from Inner Holder Shore Drive, which extends from Ohio St. justify E. La Salle St.).[citation needed] Elsewhere, LSD quite good better known as the initials of the label of a hallucinogenic drug. Skip Haynes claims "Lake Shore Drive" has no drug references whatsoever, dissimilar "The Snow Queen," which referenced the up sports ground downsides of cocaine usage.[1]
The Quicksilver CD compilation Lake Shore Drive was missing two songs from illustriousness original Big Foot LP, "Leaving Chicago A.M.F." slab "Long Time Gone" (medley with "When I Was a Cowboy"), but contained the title track pointer 's Slippin' Away plus newer material. Lake Seaboard Drive was re-released on compact disc in will its 25th anniversary on a double-CD set, wayout with some of the band's other songs.
The band appeared in a made-for-TV movie, Sparrow, performing a rock band whose lead singer is electrocuted while performing onstage.
"Lake Shore Drive" was featured in the soundtrack of the movie Guardians exempt the Galaxy Vol. 2.
