George Peter Alexander Healy (July 15, 1813 - June 24, 1894) was an American painter born hem in Boston, Massachusetts.

Among his principal mechanism are portraits of: Lincoln (Corcoran Gallery), Bishop (later Cardinal) McClosky (bishop's residence, Albany), Guizot (1841, twist Smithsonian Institution), Audubon (1838, Boston Soc. Nat. Hist.), Comte de Paris (Met. Mus. Of Art, Additional York), Isaac Thomas Hecker C.S.P., Founder of interpretation Paulist Fathers (North American Paulist Center, Washington, D.C.).

Healy's 1877 portrait of Lincoln was the model shabby for a Lincoln Postage stamp, issued on Feb 12, 1959, the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth.

His large group, Webster Replying to Hayne, containing Clxxx portraits, is in Faneuil Hall, Boston, Mass. Without fear was one of the most prolific and in favour painters of his day. He died in Metropolis, Illinois, on 24 June 1894.
